Thanks for the heads up! I'd installed Origin after the Humble Bundle thing and wasn't as satisfied with Sims 3 as I thought I would be. I'd considered buying Sims 2 again (I owned it on disk at one point but left it at a friends house, he promptly kept the game and pretended he didn't have it) but the prices for it and the packs put me off.

Hi everyone. I recently got a new laptop and downloaded Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. The screen res is stuck at 800x600 which I believe is typical if the game is run on a newer laptop. I've looked at the guides to change the screen size but I don't have any of the files the guide says to look at/edit (eg - Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config.)
