I wanna play gravity rush and could get the second game for ps4, but everyone says you should play the first game before that, but I cant get the ps4 version anywhere. So my only option is the ps vita version. Is that a suitable replacement or should I just go straight to the second one and watch the story of the first one on youtube or

The gameplay of Gravity Rush isn't great unfortunately. You can easily get under a 1 minute time. Newspaper Delivery II - Gold Medal time is 1:05. The trick to this is using Gravity Slide and Stasis Field to move through the course fast and also get people their papers easier. If you can, try to throw the papers at people while Gravity Sliding.
